Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Associated Health Professionals, Inc (AHP), a 30 year old Healthcare Staffing Company with corporate offices in Southern California is seeking a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work full time in a major medical center in the Long Beach area, Monday through Friday. The Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric care to patients with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis.

Position Requirements

• ANCC or other approved national NP certification Furnishing License and DEA required
• Experience in administration of psychotropic medications
• Previous Mental Health Nurse Practitioner experience required
• Demonstrated evidence of self-direction and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated evidence of excellent interpersonal skills with patients and staff
