¨ Responsible for driving the sales and delivery overview of security solutions consulting services related to the EMC Infrastructure Consulting business resulting in significant increase in services revenue for EMC. ¨ Point of contact for the field Account Managers, Client Solution Directors and Managing Client Solution Directors to coordinate sales initiatives in accounts. Serves as organization spokesperson on specialized leads and pre-sales programs. Acts as prime consultant on large accounts that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. ¨ Build in-depth knowledge of clients' business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into EMC solution opportunities. ¨ Build value-added relationships within the EMC Services Sales Organization -become a trusted security services advisor and SME. ¨ Provides sales support and lead proposal scoping and levels of effort with Practice Managers, and Consultants, and applicable delivery consultants in order to produce a quality proposal. ¨ Partners with the assigned Managing Principals to drive follow-on opportunities within active accounts. ¨ Recognized expertise in own area within the organization and EMCC. Acts as a lead contributor to the ICS team and the organization. Be involved in developing, mentoring or coaching others. ¨ Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts. May be regarded as 'in-house' expert on specific technologies. Conducts projects requiring additional specialized knowledge. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Provides input into the GTM strategy and direction to the CTO regarding market place trends. ¨ Define, develop and implement actions according to account plans on selected focused accounts with account teams ¨ Write proposals, interface with C-level executives and EMC Services Sales teams to ensure a successful experience for clients and EMCC.
Skills ¨ Degree or equivalent and 10+ year's business development experience in a consulting and/or professional services environment. ¨ Strong presentation, executive client management and business development skills ¨ Ability to influence others to achieve results ¨ Strong sense of urgency and ability to lead and motivate a workgroup ¨ Ability to build rapport and work closely with Services Sales teams to align ICS solutions to customer needs ¨ Ideally possesses experience in an industry vertical (Telecommunications, Financial Services, Healthcare, etc.) ¨ Technical and delivery experience ¨ Superior organizational, conflict resolution, time management and negotiation skills ¨ Holds one or more current Information Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM. ¨ Recognized thought leadership and with respect to legal and regulatory drivers such as HIPAA, SOX, and information security frameworks such as ISO2700X and NIST 800-XX.
