We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 5+ year's experience. The individual should have strong technical skills and good interpersonal skills. The engineer should have the technical skill of a developer coupled with solid understanding of Windows internals. The engineer will design and develop a reusable architecture for the test automation that will be used to test a custom developed .NET application. This architecture will provide reusable functions that improve the robustness, reusability and maintainability of the automation environment to accurately test the desired product. The engineer will work very closely with the development team to ensure that he or she completely understands the design and development approach as well as product functionality being developed and to be tested. Responsibilities:* Design, develop and implement complex test automation both at the functional and system level* Design and enhance test framework, test scripts and test harnesses to run automated functional and regression tests * Solid understanding of Windows Internals* Investigate and implement new technologies and techniques around test automation Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Requirements: Required experience: * Excellent Analysis and Design Skills * Good communication skills * A minimum of 4+ years cumulative experience developing or testing software in Windows.* Experience in developing test automation solutions* Possesses strong technical and programming skills to develop automation infrastructure and test harnesses using C++ * Experience with developing test frameworks * Exposure to agile development processes like SCRUM* C#* C++* .NET Framework* Experience with multi-threaded applications is required. * Familiarity with interfacing and APIs for Microsoft Windows * Kernel debugging proficiency is a plus.
