Experienced Outside Staffing Sales Manager



CornerStone Staffing Solutions, Inc. is currently looking for strong and highly motivated Sales Managers/Account Executives in the Imlay City, Caro, Bay City, and Cadillac areas. Will be spending 70% in field and 30% in office. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience selling a service with a minimum of 2 years in the staffing industry. Job Description

Job Title: Account Executive

SUMMARY: Presents CornerStone Staffing Solutions, Inc. and sells temporary employment services to business and industrial establishments by performing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for development of new customer accounts and increased sales in assigned territory.

Responsible for coordinating sales activities with branch office personnel to insure that new orders received are fillable with available candidates.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Market Analysis

Analyzes customer information to determine needs of customer not met by current services and develops customer proposals to meet needs.

Compiles lists of companies by industry and needs, for use in direct mail program.

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from direct mail program, newspapers, business directories, and other sources.

Evaluates reaction to direct mail and other sales promotional activity to ensure the timely adjustment of strategies and plans to meet changing conditions. Recommends changes in basic strategies to ensure effective fulfillment of objectives and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to problems and opportunities.

Performs analyses of competitors and determines marketing and sales strategies.

Customer Proposals and Presentations.

Interviews prospective clients to collect customer credit information.

Acts as initial contact between customer and/or prospective clients.

Determines customers needs, volume potential, price schedules, and rates, and participates in sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.

Coordinates all special requirements for client and communicates directly to branch office to ensure client satisfaction.

Prepares request for quotations, (RFQ's) or other necessary proposal information as required by potential client. Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

Travels throughout assigned territory to call on current and prospective customers to solicit orders.

Prepares weekly sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.

Represents company at trade association meetings to promote company.

Assists managers in the training of branch personnel in the areas of sales techniques, order processing and procedures and customer relation's techniques. Advises branch management of new or revised information on credit, pricing and pricing related issues to determine the potential "best" gross margin available based on all factors.



Coordination of Recruiting Requirements

Informs branch recruiters of all necessary requirements and requests of customer to meet their needs.

Obtains job descriptions from customer whenever possible.

Assists branch offices with recruiting personnel as required to insure timely response to customer needs.

Issues written and oral instructions.



PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT:

Primary measurement based upon contribution to overall branch sales growth and profitability.

Effective selection and development of sales personnel.



QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; degree in Marketing Communications or Human Resources preferred.

Minimum of two years experience as a recruiter or in staffing industry.



COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficient use of Windows 98 or above, Microsoft Office 2000 or above, Internet, E-mail.



LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.



MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.



REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
