RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Primary responsibility for support and development of our core products written in Visual FoxPro.
Maintaining our electronic filing programs with the IRS. These programs are a combination of Visual FoxPro and XML programming.
Enhancement of other existing applications, and programs.
Testing and debugging applications.
Provide client-specific programming, as required.
Performs job coverage for absent IT staff, provides support to IT staff in areas of position expertise, and other duties as assigned.
Documentation of existing programs.
Experience:
3+ years of programming experience in FoxPro or Visual FoxPro.
Working experience and programming with HTML, XML, Classic ASP, JavaScript, VB script and .NET.
Desirable skills:
- Experience with development and support of financial applications
- Good analytical and communications skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SourceSafe version control.
- Other object oriented programming language experience is a plus.
