Payroll Supervisor

Job Description:

Our client, a leader in the waste management industry, is searching for a Payroll Supervisor for their office in the Galleria area.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage semi-monthly and weekly payroll for approximately 1,000 employees.
  • Oversee payroll compliance including tax deposits, multi-state taxing issues, and year-end W-2 distribution.
  • Prepare management reports.
  • Prepare certified payrolls and coordinate union payments as needed.
  • Manage funding of 401K to administrator.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum 7 years payroll experience, 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Certified Payroll Professional preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
