ENGINEER - AWEC PRINCIPAL ENGINEER, Class Code AWEC-15866, Dept. of Environmental Quality, Air Quality Division (AQD) Pinedale, WY. Minimum qualifications are a bachelor's degree in engineering PLUS 5 yrs in engineering design, analysis or construction, including one year at a project or senior engineer level of responsibility. Time-limited position available 07/01/09 not to exceed 06/30/2014. Inspects and evaluates industrial processes and emission control equipment to ensure air quality requirements are met; requires the use of engineering principles and knowledge to evaluate the results of performance tests, facility emissions, and technical performance data; organizes and implements an oil and gas industry inspection program in the Pinedale area to ensure compliance with permits, waivers, standards, and regulations; provides corrective action to ensure compliance; performs data reviews; makes recommendations for actions to be taken. Requires the application of professional judgment, engineering knowledge and accepted engineering practices. Skill in interpersonal relations, writing, speaking and computers are required. Hiring range is $4,976 - $5,836/mo.
