Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation’s leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, certain neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. It is known worldwide for its innovative research and teaching, and provides ongoing care for more than 17,000 children each year.

TSRHC is seeking adaptable and organized research team member to provide technical support for basic research. The Research Assistant will perform molecular and cell biology techniques which involve studying RNA and protein expressions from various bone and cartilage tissues of experimental models and clinical specimens. Bachelor's degree in biological science with a minimum of three years experience in molecular biology in a research laboratory environment is required. Previous experience working with human tissues or tissues from experimental models is desirable. Additional experience working with bone and cartilage tissues is beneficial.
