Payroll Administrator
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent. ADP (Enterprise version 3 a plus) and ReportSmith experience required. Deltek Time and Expense, CostPoint and Congos Reporting experience a PLUS. Strong written and oral communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment a must.


Job Description :
Position responsibilities include:

1) Processing bi-weekly payroll.
2) Reporting payments to unions.
3) Reconciling payroll gross to net.
4) Verifying the proper distribution of charges to specific accounts.
5) Applying learned knowledge of practices and procedures to deal with issues or problems that require further definition before resolution.
6) Prepare and create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and reconcile all payroll related general ledger accounts.
7) Review to insure accurate computation of pay and interpret company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.
8) Apply knowledge of payroll practices to perform various audits for different state agencies and/ or in house auditors.

Experience with multi state payroll a must. Must have working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
