Job Description
This position will support and execute the IT services for a customer base spanning multiple buildings in a campus environment.
The candidate will possess the following at minimum:
• 3+ years experience in a diverse IT support environment
• Solid understanding of Windows XP and Microsoft Office
• Experience with PC imaging
• Experience with telephony support
• Proven ability to multi-task
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer interaction skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience managing to customer SLAs
• Ability to lift/move equipment such as PCs, monitors, and printers
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with customer ticketing systems and related case documentation
• Adhere to specific processes and procedures as defined by customer
• Desire to learn new skills and ability to adapt to change
• Experienced HW/SW trouble-shooting skills
• Experience with Unix and Linux
• Experience supporting remote customers
• A+ certification
• Vendor certifications, such as Dell,HP etc., are a plus
• Network experience a plus
