Manager of Outbound Sales – Healthcare

Location: Position can be based in either Columbus, OH or Manassas, VA; We are open to having someone based in Chicago, IL.

Description:

As the manager of outbound sales you will report directly to the VP and GM of the health care division. This position will be responsible for recruitment, training, and development of outbound telesales professionals and their prospective client base. Measurement for this position is based on the growth and successful retirement of pipeline generated directly from this selling group and the [insert name] field sales team. You will work closely with the business development, field sales management, manufacturers, and marketing groups to coordinate successful sales efforts and demand generation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of technical sales, and worked in one of the following environments:

· IT Tele-sales and Tele-sales management

· Healthcare field or tele sales for medical solutions

· Value Added Reseller or Direct Marketer sales or sales management team

· Healthcare provider or payer business development, procurement, or sales support

Excellent customer skills, operational skills, forecasting, and leadership skills are required. The manager of outbound sales must be able to present to customers, manufacturers, or business partners in person or virtually. The ability to lead or work within cross-functional business development teams is a necessity. Working knowledge of ecommerce, procurement, and supply chain logistics will be advantageous for this position. Compensation will be a combination of base and bonus tied to divisional budget objectives commensurate with experience.
