Lab Technician, Engineer: Telegent Systems

Responsibilities:

Work closely with RF characterization team to support advanced RFIC product evaluation and characterization including: test setup and debug, executing test suites, collecting test results, processing data and presenting information in a clear and logical manner to help drive engineering decisions.

- Support engineers in the lab with equipment setup & maintenance, IC and board testing, chip evaluation, test debug, board rework & soldering, troubleshooting RF/analog and digital circuits, and overall hardware support.

Requirements:

Experience with the operation of a variety of laboratory equipment including: power supplies, signal generators, multimeters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other equipment suitable for RF testing.

· RF laboratory experience and demonstrated efficiency with board debug & rework and ability to solder small SMA components. Must be familiar with standard RF components, cables, connectors, etc…

· Organized, self-starter, team player, good written and verbal communication skills.

· Familiar with typical Windows applications, and high proficiency with MS excel (pivot tables, data analysis and manipulation, graphs/formatting/information pesentation important).

Prefer:

• Familiarity with standard RF tests including IP3, NF, Gain, Phase noise, Sensitivity, S-parameter measurement, etc…
• Ability to implement test automation using Labview software
• Proficiency with Matlab a plus

Educational Requirements:

BSEE with 0-3 years of work experience or 10+ years of relevant laboratory experience
