Microsoft Windows 2003 Level 2 Support Professional need for contract assignment in Austin,Tx.

Candidate will be responsible for full call support from start to completion.
Gather information from the customer on the problem includeing any crash data or system error information. Determine the exact failure and locate fix.
provide customer with information necessary to fix the problem and keep it from reoccurring in the future.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Must be able to multi-task
Must be customer service oriented
Must understand the fundamental concepts of data processing, hardware, software, operating systems and utilities

Requirements:
3 plus years of proven internal customer support.
* Demonstrated problem solving abilities and initiative. Ability to quickly isolate technical issues .
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledgeable with IP networking including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, IP routing, etc.
* Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Active Directory.

Preferred:
* Bachelor Degree in computer science or a closely related field
* MCSE 2003
* Experience with Windows 2003 platforms including troubleshooting, process automation and performance monitoring a plus.
* Experience working on a 24x7 Operations team with multiple remote data centers is a plus
* NOC or data center experience is a plus.
