Secure Horizons is a division of Ovations, the segment within UnitedHealth Group exclusively focused on health and well-being for individuals age 50+.
The Medicare Individual Sales Representative (ISR) sells a portfolio of Medicare health related products using a solutions based sales approach to assist seniors in selecting the product which best suits their individual clinical, financial and life stage needs.
The ISR will:
- Use their outside sales experience to maximize sales opportunities within the designated territory to meet and exceed goals.
- Develop relationships with organizations that serve seniors, such as medical facilities, senior housing facilities and faith-based organizations in order to generate leads.
- Generate leads and respond to leads provided by the company
- Schedule and conduct individual meetings and group presentations from assigned/self generated leads.
- Enroll eligible individuals in the Company's products
- Comply with Medicare and state sales, marketing and enrollment requirements.
- Complete required sales training. Attend required sales meetings. Maintain active sales license.
- Complete miscellaneous sales administration responsibilities: individual collateral requests, database management and community meetings scheduling.
TERRITORY: Maricopa, Yavapai, Pinal Counties. Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2+ years previous outside sales experience
- Previous Medicare sales experience is strongly preferred
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred
- The ability to work independently and manage time and territory effectively
- Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- An affinity for working with the senior population
- A current license to sell health insurance in the state of Arizona
- A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Reliable, insured transportation and a valid drivers license
- The ability to travel throughout the assigned territory up to 90% of the time
