The Alta Bates Summit Comprehensive Cancer Center provides a high level of clinical care in a compassionate community setting. Both our medical and radiological oncologists are specialists in many types of cancer, including breast, prostate, lung, and colorectal, as well as leukemias, lymphomas, and myelomas. The Alta Bates Summit Comprehensive Cancer Center provides state-of-the-art care for cancer patients in a community environment. The Cancer Center has one of the East Bay's most extensive cancer care programs, offering advanced treatment options and program support with the following on-site services: Medical oncology infusion center for chemotherapy, transfusions and other IV products; Radiation therapy planning and treatment center; Oncology-focused pharmacy; Laboratory; Apheresis center; An array of complementary therapies, psycho-social and nutrition support services.

This position administer radiation treatments to cancer patients. These services further the vision of Aptium Oncology to create unique environments, where patients, their families, doctors and staff come together to achieve longer and better lives in the fight against cancer.
A.S. degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy technician program. Current ARRT. Current California RTT license (CRT) and fluoroscopy permit
Knowledge of record and verify computer programs. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a high pace treatment environment. Excellent customer services skills and ability to convey a sense of calm professionalism to the patient. Trouble-shooting skills regarding treatment parameters - (problem solving). Complies with regulatory requirements (i.e. JCAHO) appropriate for position. Prefer minimum of 2 years of RTT experience in a progressive Radiation Therapy dept.
