Company Introduction – We are a fast growing Property and Casualty Insurance Company domiciled in San Antonio.

Description:

This challenging position, which reports directly to the President, will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the Company by performing or supervising the following duties:

• maintenance of the general ledger
• budget preparation
• management of receivable collections
• preparation of all company financial statements and variance analysis reports
• preparation of Quarterly and Annual Statements, including Schedule P, as required by the Texas Department of Insurance
• reconciliation of interdivision accounts

Requirements:

- Strong Leadership qualities; ability to motivate

- BA/BS in accounting

- Five plus years experience in accounting

- Although not mandatory, bilingual (Spanish/English) speaking, a plus

- Self-starter and willingness to get the job done, whatever it takes

- Must be available for occasional business travel

- Unquestionable professional and personal integrity

- Insurance industry experience, with emphasis in property and casualty

- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to supervise and delegate responsibilities
