| | Logistics/Operations Specialist | Minimum Requirements : A two year associate degree or technical school certificate is highly desirable. Experience may be substituted for education at the rate of one year of specific experience for one year of college. Have excellent communication and people skills. Must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Access. Candidate must be able to pass a physical exam due to the harsh living and working conditions. Must also pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen. Have the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Must possess a valid driver's license. Job Description : Responsible for reporting status for various areas in the contract. Determines manning levels. Responsible for maintenance reporting. Coordinates training for employees theatre wide. Maintains a close relationship with CONUS staff for tracking employees out of country and recruiting
Responsibilities
ï® Responsible for daily accountability of all EG&G/LSI employees theatre wide. ï® Reports personnel manning levels in various reports using Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Access. ï® Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost ï® Compiles maintenance data for monthly reporting. ï® Determines New Hire Site assignments. ï® Processes position updates based on promotions and mission requirements. ï® Coordinates training for EG&G/LSI employees theatre wide. ï® Responsible for moving TMDE items from field Sites for calibration or repair. ï® Performs analyses, studies, problem identification and resolution in support of a customer logistics area manager.
Extreme danger, stress, physical hardships and possible field living conditions associated with this position within a desert camp complex. Ability to function during an extended assignment at a foreign, in-country facility exposed to seasonal temperature extremes. Ability to cope with shared cafeteria, bath and sleeping quarters. Must be able to walk, kneel, bend and stoop, and have correctable vision.
