The Clinical Assessment Developer is primarily responsible for coordinating specific aspects of the test scoring process, such as developing scoring training materials, training and monitoring the scorers, development of data entry materials (study screens, data entry specifications, scoring guidelines, etc.). The Clinical Assessment Developer performs quality checks for various materials (e.g. data analyses and reports, data entry screens, case assignment, etc.) through the phases of product development. The Clinical Assessment Developer is responsible for writing sections of the Examiner's Manual, such as administration and scoring directions. The Clinical Assessment Developer also serves as a test examiner in the development process. The Clinical Assessment Developer assists the Research Director(s) with many activities (item development; mock up of record forms, artwork, sample pages; answering customer questions, etc.) throughout the test development process.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

1. Manage various administrative tasks for the project
2. Coordinate aspects of the training and scoring processes
3. Perform quality checks on materials, deliverables, and data in the development phases of the test product.
4. Write specific sections of the Examiner's Manual.
5. Administer the test under development to examinees according to specified procedures. Provide constructive feedback to Research Director(s) to use in later stages of test development.
6. Support the Research Director(s) n various activities of test development. Support includes drafting materials for the Research Director's review, mocking up samples of deliverables, and editing materials, among others.

Skills
Candidate needs to be very competent in MS Excel and Word, must be accurate in monitoring and checking detailed work. Must be organized, precise and attend to detailed written and numerical data; must be flexible and able to organize and schedule and work independently and under pressure. Work independently and as a member of a team; communicate effectively and synthesize and generalize information across projects. Statistical skills and familiarity with data entry are preferred. Bilingual, Spanish a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree, Master's degree in psychology, education, or related field is preferred.
