The Regional Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating all Loss Prevention functions to achieve maximum effectiveness in inventory shortage and protection of company assets. This position is responsible for determining the effectiveness of Loss Prevention policies and procedures through compliance auditing, XBR and exception based reporting, and internal case resolution. The Regional Loss Prevention Manager is also responsible for all controllable lines to include shrink, cash handling, bad checks and credit card charge backs. This position reports to the Director, Loss Prevention and has no direct reports. Candidate must possess the ability to: * Develop and implement programs to aid in the reduction of inventory and controllable losses to meet goals of assigned locations. * Provide constant review of informational resources to uncover losses through procedural auditing and exception based reporting review. * Coordinate special audits, tests and inspections as directed by the Director, Loss Prevention. * Initiate appropriate strategy to bring internal investigations to successful conclusion. * Implement prosecution and/or restitution procedures to ensure maximum ROI to the company. * Ensure the effective utilization of physical security controls in assigned locations to prevent and reduce inventory shortage. Qualifications: * Minimum five to eight years of retail loss prevention experience; minimum two years of experience with multi-store locations, preferably with a large-scale retailer * Advanced level of administrative and technical knowledge in retail loss prevention * Ability to integrate loss prevention, inventory shrinkage reduction goals with corporate and stores organization * Advanced knowledge and technical expertise in internal and external shortage controls and security systems technology * Ability to understand computer-based reporting in the areas of inventory and POS (point of sale) interfaces * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Thorough knowledge of legal ramifications and procedures * Extensive travel is required * Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience An equal opportunity employer, Express, LLC does not discriminate in hiring or terms and conditions of employment because of an individual's race, color, religion, gender, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, sexual orientation or marital status.
