Inside Sales Manager
Job Description
This position will be responsible for building and driving revenue growth
through the development and supervision of Inside Sales professionals
supporting North America. Candidate will be responsible for tracking sales activity,
providing sales projections, and creating/analyzing metrics that drive results.
This position resides in Sunnyvale, CA .
Responsibilities
- Establish Inside
Sales function in rapidly growing company
- Develop and
justify strategy and plans, including size, focus, and deployment of team,
level of engagement (qualifying leads, setting appointments, closing
orders), etc.
- Motivate and
manage Inside Sales professionals to drive pipeline development and
revenues through inside sales efforts leveraging the field sales
organization and partner network.
- Coordinate,
direct and monitor the outbound efforts of the inside sales team by
tracking and reporting weekly individual and team activities, campaign
call results, lead status and sales goals.
- Collaborate with management
and other team leaders to identify strategies to achieve sales goals and
uncover new, high value opportunities.
- Detailed
knowledge of systems, metrics and customer needs and requirements Performs
detailed channel analysis on product sell in and channel sell through
opportunities based on customer and industry information
Required
Competencies/Skills
- BA/BS degree from
accredited university or 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
- Experience in
Internet Security industries strongly preferred.
Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills; knowledge of CRM system a plus.
- Key leadership
skills in inside sales; hiring, developing and retaining talent. Detailed
knowledge of systems, metrics, and customer segmentation that supports
growth in an inside sales model is required.
- Strong industry
and target, buying audience, competitive, product, service, pricing, and
contract administration knowledge.
- Exceptional sales
skills throughout the sales life-cycle: prospecting, buying behaviors,
negotiation, overcoming objections and closing the deal.
- Experience with
account planning, account development and retention strategies, pipeline
management and selling capabilities.
- Influential
personality; motivational strategies and tactics developed and honed by
interacting closely with the sales organization.
- Excellent
communications capabilities.
- Strong
organizational skills and ability to work on many projects concurrently.
- Enthusiastic,
highly motivated individuals with a serious work ethic are required.
