We are seeking an entry-level analytical chemist for our south suburban Chicago, Illinois location.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide analysis for use in process control of coal, coke, oils and ore. Analysis of various elements of a coal and coke by-products and various other minerals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or other physical science from an accredited college or university is required. This is an entry-level position.
  • Knowledge of GC and Mass Spec. operations;
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule with on-call demands;
  • Above average organizational and computer skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision when necessary;
  • Leadership skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

The typical schedule for the position is Tuesday through Saturday.
