Key expansion position: Sales Executive

Vocus is currently seeking tenacious (HUNTERS) and experienced Sales Executives to join our public company located in Lanham , MD and Herndon , VA. The successful Sales Executive will assist Vocus in expanding our industry presence by driving new business in established territories.

Sales Executives have the opportunity to drive new business by prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating our award winning software and closing deals. Our Sales Executives are supported by marketing programs combined with a dedicated lead generation team.

Qualifications:

  • Three plus years of sales experience specifically demonstrating and selling software/products over the Internet
  • Minimum of two years of B2B sales in a high activity environment
  • Experience developing new business through prospecting
  • Strong demonstration skills
  • Proven track record - President’s club, Merit awards, other
  • Goal oriented, self motivated, confident, competitive, thorough and tenacious
  • SaaS, Web-based, on demand software experience a plus
