To gain a working knowledge of the Merchandiser position, how it is applied in day to day business and it's role in the product life cycle.

The Tommy Hilfiger Internship Program offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training while gaining valuable and realistic hands on experience and an introduction to the fashion industry. We have an exciting opportunity for an intern to work within our Company Archives for the Summer 2009 semester. Please note that all internships are unpaid and for academic credit only . All candidates must provide written proof that they will be able to receive credit prior to beginning our internship program.

Assisting THM Wholesale merchandiser in day to day activities which may include but are not limited to:

- Prep. work and presentation for weekly/monthly meetings (best seller, assortment, etc...)

- Ensuring accuracy of Seasonal Line Plans (ISIS)

- Tracking, pulling and storing of samples as required.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Average to above average in general computer literacy.

- Microsoft Windows: Excel, Power-Point, Word etc...
