Job Description
The Proposal Specialist will be responding to inquiries for spare parts and replacement parts in after sales, dealing with end-users across various industries, plastic, paper, power/energy, oil gas, environmental, and others. Will be responsible for the Flender product (maintenance or replacement parts) and will coordinate service to the job site when customer has a failing component. The Proposal Specialist will refer to base file of component and review parts list. Will price part, place customer purchase order and monitors cycle to delivery. Replacement parts can be anything from a shaft seal to end product and anything in-between. Will source parts from local manufacturing and German manufacturing facilities. This position requires quick results and turn around. The Proposal Specialist will coordinate with other department members for final execution.
General Summary:
Demonstrate the company's existing products and services to customers.
Prepare and follow up quotations, solicit orders, clarify orders for proper processing.
Communicate daily with customers and factory via phone and electronic mail
Other duties related to assignment in After Sales department.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
5 + years of experience either as a technician or in after sales customer facing role within the large gear manufacturing industry.
Hands on experience with mechanical equipment is plus
After sales/service experience skills are a plus
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must have demonstrated experience driving on time delivery for customer satisfaction.
Must demonstrate and excel in teamwork and effective verbal and written communication.
Proficient computer skills in use of the complete Microsoft Office software suit and other applicable software programs.
Effectively communicates with customers, internal and external contacts team members to ensure positive, timely outcomes
SAP expeience is a plus
