Snr Financial Analyst - Sales & Marketing 4524: Interactive Data Corporation
    Senior Financial Analyst Supporting Sales and Marketing Provides full financial support and analysis to the Sales and Marketing functions for Interactive Datas Institutional business Leads business & financial support for the President Institutional Sales and the Chief Marketing Officer Will work closely with the Director of Sales Operations in analyzing new sales and cancellation trends and in the annual review of the sales commission plan This position will be responsible for preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecast, detailed analysis on key revenue drivers including analysis of usage revenue and normalization of monthly revenue. The Senior Financial Analyst will also prepare detail analysis on key expense drivers, marketing expenditures and prepare the monthly commentary for these functional areas This position will also be responsible for monitoring all personnel and purchase requisition associated with the sales and marketing departments This position will also be responsible ad-hoc projects as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required Five or more years finance and/or accounting experience (minimum of four years in financial planning & analysis roles) Demonstrated impact to business decision-making through analytical projects Previous budgeting, and planning, and monthly variance tracking experience necessary Experience in using Oracle and a multi-dimensional budget and planning application(e.g. Hyperion, OutlookSoft or Cognos) is strongly preferred Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred Strong cross-functional communication/people skills are required Interactive Data is an Equal Opportunity Employer Interactive Data was named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top 100 Places to work in 2008.
