HW Digital Design Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a HW Design Engineer who wants to be a part of a fast-paced and challenging environment. The focus of this position will be designing Aruba next generation L3-L7 mobility controllers by a combination of Sunnyvale based R&D and technical lead and oversight of Asia based Joint Development Manufacturer design

Requirements:

• BS + 4 years of experience or MS + 2 years of experience
• Strong experience in stackable or chassis controller, appliance, switch, or router system design and development
• Experience in high-speed digital design techniques (transmission lines, PCB routing rules, etc.) required.
• Strong experience in PCA schematic capture and layout, Mentor DxDesigner and Cadence Allegro preferred.
• Experience in HW DVT (bench, environmental, , EMI/C,)
• Experience in Point of Load DC/DC power subsystems design and development
• Experience is taking product from concept to manufacturing a strong plus.
• Experience with JDM developed projects is a plus.
• A history of close working relationships and/or direct experience with manufacturing operations
• Experience with design and development quality processes a plus
• Experience managing interns and technicians DVT execution a plus
• Familiarity with WLAN technologies a plus
• Familiarity with L2 and IP networking concepts a plus
