KEMET Electronics Corporation, a World Class Leader in the manufacture, sales and distribution of Aluminum, Electrolytic & Polymer, Ceramic, Film and Tantalum Capacitors, has an excellent opportunity for a Field Application Engineer to work out of his/her home office location anywhere in the southeastern U.S. which has easy access to a major airport.
Job Description:
The FAE will provide technology expertise to our sales teams and customers that will result in design wins for existing and new products. This individual will primarily support accounts in the southeastern U.S., Mexico and Brazil. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Secure print position and work with the sales teams to uncover new opportunities.
- Systematically funnel customer data to the business group development teams and marketing organizations for inclusion in product roadmaps.
- Provide technical training to customers and sales personnel (direct, manufacturers' reps, distribution) on new products and technology.
- Provide feedback to Marketing, Manufacturing and Engineering about the competitive environment, market acceptance of devices, and identification of opportunities and features for new products/product areas.
- Support evaluation and reference platforms for newly released products.
- Participate in industry groups critical to our core business.
Job Requirements:
- BSEE in Electrical Engineering.
- Must be bi-lingual in English/Spanish in both oral and written communication.
- Demonstrated analytical and system troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to present moderate to highly technical materials to diverse audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Requires 50% travel.
