Responsibilities: In depth knowledge of the microcontroller market, dominant competitors products and strenghs/weaknesses of such. Ability to quickly establish strategic business plans for penetration of the Top 10 SAM accounts in the region. Proven ability to drive relationships at senior management level with these types of customers. Ability to offer customers a high value proposition by leveraging in-depth technical skills and the successful utilization of internal coprorate resources. Proven success training sales teams or active collaboration of best practices within a sales ogranization. Effective time management and willingness in taking an active role in setting priorities with ATmel direct resources as well as rep and distribution sales teams. An understanding of the global nature of the semiconductor market, how to communicate in such and the tracking of sales opportunities/revunue stream assosicated with this.
Mandatory Skills: Self starter, highly motivated and ability to adapt to change. Ability to travel throughout the region and occcassionally outside.
Preferred Skills: Experience in QBS (Question Based Selling) and Miller Heiman Sales Training. Proficiency in Excel. Experience in Mondel N or Azerity sales operating systems.
Education: 4 year bachelor degree required. MSEE preferred but not required.
Experience: Candidate must have 10+ years of OEM semiconductor sales experience with a track record of success.
