This high-visibility position requires an energetic individual with a demonstrated ability to make key contributions in the analysis of financial and strategic issues. The Finance Manager will have FP&A responsibility for the consumer product line. . This individual will support corporate-lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities, and assist on special projects, with significant interaction with the executive team as well as supporting product supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain company long-range financial models, incorporating appropriate financial measures to evaluate new products
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and recommendations for product profitability, and other opportunistic and strategic decisions
- Develop reporting for strategic initiatives
- Partner with management to drive the development of detailed budgets, business plans, and forecasts
- Coordinate with functional managers on process re-engineering efforts
- Hands on interaction in supply chain functions
- Prepare management presentations
Requirements:
- Must have supported a Consumer Product line
- Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to present information clearly and concisely. Proven and proactive business partnering skills.
- Comfortable interacting directly with all levels of management
- Able to influence and drive change in organizations
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify & solve complex business problems
- Excellent financial modeling skills
- Cost Accounting knowledge preferred
- BS Finance or Accounting with 5-8 years of relevant experience with 5 years of supply chain; MBA Required
