Job Description

Position can be located in any of the following locations: Alpharetta, GA , Buffalo Grove Il, or Plano, TX

Position Summary:

The Compliance Case Manager will directly report to the Siemens Industry Inc. Compliance Officer (US), disciplinarily and functionally. The Compliance Case Manager will be responsible for the tracking of all investigated Compliance Cases within the SII. Furthermore he will support the SII Compliance Officer in updating and execution of controls within the scope of the Compliance Control Framework (CCF).

Compliance Case Manager functions include:

- Create tracking site / sharepoint for investigations and Compliance-related audit and OR findings
- Tracking of all investigated Compliance Cases within SII as well as reporting to the SII Compliance Officer and other relevant stakeholders
- Being interface to Corporate Compliance Departments, such as Compliance Legal, Compliance Investigations, Compliance Program Management
- Conducting pre-investigations in order to detect violations of law and regulations which might lead to forensic investigations
- Support in remediation work
- Prepare reports for Compliance organization and SII management on cases and findings upon request.
- Analyses of accounting records and other documents
- Execution of Compliance related controls
- Enhancement of Compliance Control Framework
- Collaboration with other cross-function Compliance units within SII


Compliance Case Manager Education and Experience include:

- University / Bachelor degree (preferably law, politics, commerce)
- Certified Fraud Examiner qualifications a plus.
- 2+ years Accounting and/or Forensic Auditing at Big Four or Regional Accounting Firm and/or Corporate Internal Audit Department.

Compliance Case Manager Skills include:

- Ability to analyze company accounting records and financial statements, understand complex business transactions and their effects on financial statements.
- Independence, Integrity, Objectivity and Confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- SAP knowledge considered very valuable
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Sarbanes-Oxley highly desirable
- German language skills a plus
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong sense of candor and discretion.
