Baylor Health Care System is a not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system with many care locations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth community.
The Parking and Transportation Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of parking and transportation for BHCS campuses and facilities. This includes revenue operations for self park and valet lots; administration of BHCS parking rules and regulations; supervision of patient and staff transportation services; and management of BHCS photo identification system. In addition, the Manager is responsible for parking space allocation throughout BHCS.
Must obtain Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) recognition within one year of appointment. I. Provide direction and management for parking revenue operations system-wide. a. Oversees all BHCS customer self park and valet service parking facilities. b. Develops new revenue opportunities. c. Establishes revenue targets and identifies revenue trends. II. Manages parking space allocation for System parking facilities. a. Oversees daily parking utilization of BHCS parking facilities. b. Conducts space availability analyses to ensure sufficient parking for customers and staff. c. Coordinates special event and VIP parking arrangements for System campuses and facilities. III. Serves as customer advocate on hospital accessibility. a. Works with BHCS executives, architects and engineers to plan and design campus parking facilities. b. Responds to customer concerns about parking, wayfinding, and access to BHCS facilities. IV. Manages parking and transportation section supervisors. a. Provides general direction and leadership to three supervisory personnel. b. Coaches and counsels subordinate staff and prepares annual performance evaluations. V. Provide statistical reports and briefings to senior department and corporate leadership. a. Provides regular parking and transportation updates to the Director of System Security. b. Provides regular parking and transportation updates to corporate officers within the System. VI. Establish and maintain a work force that is dedicated to the spirit of excellence and corporate vision. a. Develop and maintain spirit of excellence philosophy within all parking and transportation services. b. Works to maintain a diversified and professionally trained workforce system-wide. VII. Manages system-wide photo identification system. a. Oversees issuance of all BHCS photo identification badges. b. Maintains data and process integrity. VIII. Coordinates parking facility cleanliness and appearance. a. Oversees routine cleaning and upkeep of parking facilities. b. Reviews vendor/third party contracts for effectiveness. IX. Manages patient and staff transportation system-wide. a. Ensures safe and convenient patient transportation to and from BHCS facilities. b. Manages Dallas campus shuttle transit system. X. Serves as liaison with governmental entities on parking and traffic solutions for BHCS. a. Identifies parking and traffic related safety hazards and coordinates improvements with local officials. b. Assesses parking and transportation impact related to local construction and street projects. XI Responds to customer concerns, complaints, and questions about parking, way finding, and access to BHCS facilities.
XII. Manages parking and transportation section Supervisors, and staff. Provides general direction and leadership to three-five supervisory personnel.

XVIII. Identifies parking and traffic related safety hazards and coordinates improvements, and assesses parking and transportation impact related to local construction and street projects. Job Requirements Must be able to Pre-employment physical, pass a background check and pre-employment drug test. Must have prior multi-unit parking facility management experience. Must have held 1 million plus dollar budgetary responsibilities. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas driver license and driving record that meets BHCS insurance standards for duration of employment in this position. Should have experience in Shuttle/transportation operations and ability to understand DOT laws Should have experience in Traffic Enforcement and the ability to understand ordinances and laws College Degree 4 Years of Experience In Lieu of Education 1 Year Work for 1 Year of Ed Associated with Progressive Responsibility Required Education and/or Experience: Bachelor Degree (Appropriate to Position) Associated with Progressive Responsibility PLEASE APPLY USING THIS BUTTON ONLY
