Full-time or Part-time Available with Benefits

Required Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy.

Licensure: Current Georgia license in good standing

Required Minimum Experience: Minimum one year full-time therapy experience. Home health experience preferred.

Required Skills: Positive leadership, problem solving skills, organizational and time management skills. CPR certification required.

Job Summary:
The Therapist reports to the Program Manager of Acute Care therapy services and provides direct patient care to clients who require rehabilitative care. The Therapist is responsible for age appropriate interventions for the client, including physical, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and educational needs of the client and their family when appropriate. The Therapist is responsible for the delivery of high quality continuous care. The Therapist acts a s a preceptor for new employees and works in co-operation with other disciplines.
The therapist is responsible for attending inservices, staff meetings, special projects and continuing education.
