General Description/Principal duties and responsibilities
· Provides PC, desktop, and peripheral support for all users in the Vanguard New England Market. This includes all hospitals, clinics, outpatient locations, regional offices and any other locations supported by the Vanguard New England Information Services Department.
· Configure the Meditech and other clinical and financial systems to recognize new or changed hardware devices.
· Work with departmental management on various projects as they relate to desktop and peripheral devices
· Participate in on call rotation for after hours support.
· Provide support for moves, adds and changes of desktop and peripheral devices
· All other duties as assigned.
Skills and abilities required
· Must have good communications skills.
· Must have good problem solving skills.
· Must be able to work with little supervison.
education/experience requirements
· A+ Certification preferred.
· 1 Year experience supporting a MS Windows network environment preferred.
· Experience with MS Office, Windows Active Directory preferred.
