About Us
Parking Area Maintenance, Inc. is a full service asphalt paving and maintenance contractor with over 41 years of experience. We specialize in asphalt paving, asphalt repair, asphalt sealing, and asphalt pavement maintenance for professionally managed properties in the state of Florida. Parking Area Maintenance, Inc. has two major operating divisions: Asphalt Paving and Pavement Maintenance.
We are a "One Source" Paving Contractor. We provide site preparation, asphalt paving from new construction to asphalt repair, sealcoating, line striping, wheel stops, concrete repair and concrete curbing. Likewise, we offer a wide variety of products and are certified applicators of Jennite pavement sealer and StreetPrint pavement texturing.
Our goal from day one has been to provide quality pavement maintenance services for professionally managed properties at a competitive price. While growing in size and experience over the years, we have never lost sight of our original goal.
We have experienced tremendous growth, expanding from three employees and $350,000 in revenue in 1984, to over 85 employees and over $12,000,000 in 2002. We moved to our present Tampa headquarters in 1999, and opened our first branch office in Sarasota in 1998. We will be opening several other branch offices throughout Florida as we continue to expand our market.
Parking Area Maintenance, Inc. developed and implemented a Total Quality Management program, laying the ground work for continuous improvement company wide. Our strong commitment to this program is evident throughout the company and the TQM program will serve as an avenue for all future growth-ensuring that our original commitments to outstanding quality and service are maintained as we expand. We grade your site, place a stabilized sub-base, and handle pipe installation and repair as necessary to prepare your lot for its new asphalt surface. |
| Asphalt Paving |
We specialize in paving new or resurfacing existing parking lots and private roads. We pave small and large jobs, from strip malls to major distribution centers. We are equipped to complete your job regardless of its size. |
| Textured Pavement |
We are licensed applicators of the Streetprint Pavement Texturing system which creates a decorative and beautiful pavement design. |
| Asphalt Repair |
Is your asphalt lot in pretty good shape except for a few potholes? Let us repair those holes - properly. We take the extra step by ensuring that all those important details, such as properly preparing the edges, inserting hot asphalt, and compacting the patch with a roller, are performed professionally. |

Sealcoating protects and extends the life of your asphalt by protecting the pavement from the elements while greatly improving its appearance. We offer several types of sealcoating products, one of which will meet your pavement's specific needs. |
| Line Striping & Design |
Your parking lot isn't complete until the cars know where to park - and that requires line striping. We perform both line striping and other surface signage such as handicap parking symbols. |
| Crack Filling & Sealing |
Water destroys pavement subsurfaces. Keep it out by keeping your cracks filled and sealed with the proper sealers. We will clean out your pavement cracks, fill them and seal them and keep your pavement ready for several more years. |
| Bumper Blocks |
We furnish and install bumper blocks which prevent cars from hitting walls, landscaping, or other cars. Choose from either concrete or recycled rubber blocks. We will also relocate your existing blocks. |
| Concrete Repair |
We can clean out and replace deteriorated concrete from wheel stops, sidewalks, and parking lots. |
| Concrete Curbing |

| DA-210/350 Self Propelled Dual Applicators |

Blaw-Knox DA series self-propelled applicators are the only machines on the market to combine long lasing durability and power, with unstoppable spray and squeegee performance. The DA series applicators offer versatility that caters to all job types and situations. Both DA-series applicators are equipped with either the ESSP 100 gpm pumping system, or the ESP 50 gpm pumping system. The dual drag squeegee assembly is constructed to give the operator outstanding coverage over the asphalt surface. Both applicators offer hydrostatically driven rear wheel drive for unbelievable power and maneuverability. Easy to use floor pedals give the operator on-demand control of material to the squeegee. Squeegee operator arm lets the operator windrow the material left or right to provide maximum control over material distribution. Hydraulically driven forward or reverse agitator keeps the material at peak consistency. Like all of our self-propelled applicators the DA-series provides contractors with the smoothest control possible over steering (power steering), stopping, and starting.
