Dental Network of America (DNoA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC). Founded in 1936, Health Care Service Corporation, a Mutual Legal Reserve Company, is the largest non-investor-owned health insurer in the United States and the fourth largest health insurer in the country overall, operating the Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. As one of the nation's premier health insurers, HCSC employs more than 16,000 people and provides coverage for 11.5 million members. HCSC, an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, has a rating of AA– from Standard and Poor’s, A2 from Moody’s, and A+ from A.M. Best Co.
DNoA acts as the administrator for all HCSC dental programs, providing comprehensive administrative support. DNoA also offers services in proprietary network development, actuarial, underwriting, marketing and sales support to their clients. Dental products are administered for groups with as few as two employees to thousands of employees. DNoA currently works with over 80,000 dentist access points nationally through DPPO, DHMO and Referral networks, ensuring high quality and affordable dental care to its members and clients.
