On January 2nd, 1997, Yankee Industrial Truck Corporation of Scarborough, ME, and Lewis/Boyle, Incorporated, of Waltham, MA officially merged to become Hyster New England. With 4 facilities totaling over 150,000 square feet and 260 full time employees, Hyster New England has become not only the largest company of its kind in New England by a factor of nearly two, but also one of the largest Hyster dealers in the nation. In our first year alone, our total sales exceeded $50 million.
