A welder does many things, a welder welds many types of steel products. Way too many to list them all. If you are a welder you might specialize in a certain type of welding, maybe in construction or in manufacturing, maybe shipyards helping to build ships. Or yes-even making boilers. A boilermaker does just that-makes boilers-this would probably require good welding skills so they are somewhat related. Ive did some basic welding indoors in a factory. Its hot, dirty work. But if you are a certified welder you can make a very good living.
