Will the FBI let you work parttime?
Asked by bruce
I'm going through the process of getting clearance now, but since I applied, I need the job to be part-time, rather than full. Will the FBI be flexible with me on this? Do they have a general policy, or does it depend on the department, etc? This is my first time in a job with the FBI, and with the federal government. Any input or suggestions are appreciated!

All HR policy is set by OPM, across the government...not FBI. Full time is full time. (former US FED/SESer/DC)

Like any other employer if they hired you for full time work they expect you to be able to work full time. No they will not let you work however many hours you want.
