How can I get my director to like me more?

I feel like my Director isn't too crazy about me. I've been here for a few months and she never seems all that impressed with me. I think she is a very, very intelligent person and often get intimidated around her. I am currently in an assistants position and have 1 manager who reports to the director. So I don't do much work for the director. But we do have meetings together. Any ideas to put me on better terms?

Just do your job well. You are not going to work to impress someones personal emotions. As long as you do your job and keep a good additude you should be ok.

Read "How to Win Friends and Influence People," by Dale Carnegie. It's a good book on how to talk to people.
