What is the shortest amount of schooling for being an RN? and where should one go to scholl for it in SoCal?
Asked by Sandra
Im a senior in high school and i really want to be an RN. But i want to achieve it in the shortest time possible. I'm in the IB program at my school so i have the ability to attend a 4-yr university but i really just want to go to a Community college or JC in my area. Does anyone have some information to help me?

The community college is the best & fastest route. It is 2 years core and 1 year or so prereqs. There is a wait list so you need to act now. There are nursing programs at most of the community colleges (so look in your area. For example, in Torrance, El Camino has a program). CSULB & CSULA both have BSRNs.

What is a scholl? I think he may sell shoe inserts.
You can get an RN in two years at a community college. You can get a BSN at a university in four. If you are smart, you will go to CSU for the one that pays better.

Assuming that was a spelling error and you do not know how to use the spell checker, there are many trade schools for LVN and RN.
Check your area out for medical trade schools using the internet and please, learn to use your spell checker
