How much does a manager make working at a franchise Pizza Restaurant?

I think someone is lying to me about their potential salary when they start their job. I was just curious about this. I believe they will be the general manager or something. This person has no experience in the restaurant industry.

depending on experience and area. Could be 29,000-35,000 per year starting and could possible go up from there, not much though!
