One of the the requirements before i can start classes for LVN or RN is a background check?

I have a couple of misdemeanors for driving on a suspended license a couple years ago is that going to be a problem for me or are they just looking for violent offenses, I will be talking to a counselor about it on monday but i am kind of curious

Everywhere is different, but generally speaking minor driving offenses will not disqualify you. They are looking for things like you said, violent offenses, things where they wouldn't want you taking care of a vulnerable adult or child, drug offenses, etc. You should probably be fine, but as you said, definitely talk to someone at your school who can tell you exactly what would disqualify you. Be up front about what they will find.

I did not have to have the cbc before beginning classes, but needed it before taking the state board. They are mainly concerned with felony convictions. However, don't ever try to hide a misdomeanor. It's better to go ahead and let others (such as potential employers) know about it.

Yes because even though the school has to take you, the hospital may not allow for you to be on the clinical site.
You need to talk with the Director of the Nursing program to ask.
