How much U-Verse Techs make ?

I Live in WI , work as a contractor for Time Warner Cable , on the average about 130$ a day (doing about 6-7 installs a day). I heard from people that U-Verse installers make at least 200$ a day , with 10 hour days (not 12-14 as I work) and on top of that , its a lot easier. So people , if you know for sure , or you work for AT&T plz let me know.

The pay scale varies from state to state, I'm in Texas, where our cost of living is cheap, so I'm sure there is a difference from Wisconson. Anyways, I'm not sure of an exact figure for your state, but I can tell you the pay will be better. Aside from that, even if you break even pay wise, being a CWA union member, helps us get way better benefits. Working for AT&T we don't have to pay for our insurance, it is covered by the company. You also get paid time and a half any time you work a Sunday or your day off, and Double time for Holidays. At 6 months you have a week paid vacation, and 7 paid days off, you get a second week vacation once you hit a year, that's a total of 3 weeks off in just a year. We are also not expected to do 6 to 7 installs a day, we do about 1 or 2 and a repair.
