Attention to detail is probably the top. Then customer service attitude and patience, because you are going to deal with numerous people who don't like the bank policies and take their frustration out on you. Patience because many people don't know how to clearly explain what they want.

Attention, Patience, Customer care, Sincere, Honest, Vigilant and so on.
Normally the customer comes with different mood mental stress, always at the tip of his toes and want to be attended first, most of them will consider the teller as if they are not doing their job and show their frustration. Some may challenge the Bank teller.
One has to be careful dealing with the customers and always has to be polite, friendly and patient.

Firstly a positive attitude, secondly the ability to handle stress.
Then attention to detail, then multi-tasking, everything else is down to your training program.

The only thing i would add to this is stamina, it is hard work spending all day faced with a queue of people and having to concentrate with every one of them , some days you have all on to get to the toilet. This coupled with the constant complaints is not easy, I know, Ive done it
