What kind of training would you suggest for a factory manager who is not as strict as he should be?

Best Answer:
He needs to be informed what the company wants from him. Maybe some assertiveness training. He needs to know he is doing harm to both the company and the employees. The company isn't getting the value it is paying for. The employees won't get promoted and might even get fired because he didn't make them do their best. He isn't being a nice guy just taking the easy way out.

A:
If that's the case I'd he's not suited for the job and no training will help. Self-discipline is more of a personal issue rather than a training issue in this case. Training in perhaps the Army may help.
