Where do you go to take a test to become a certified welder?

Any technical or community college should have it ,,Some apprentice programs are usually sponsored by Unions ,,shipyards etc... Job corp also depending on your age ........Look for welder helpers positions if a company hires you as a helper you ll eventually be trained on welding ....hope this helps

Depends on the Certification you are seeking. Contact the Union representative for the trade you are looking into. Sheet Metal Worker's for light gauge, Iron Workers or Pipe Fitters for heavier stuff.
