What is a financial Services professional?
Asked by Jonell J
I have an upcoming interview (The company contacted me,However my resume is titled for an Administrative Assistant position.) They want me for a financial services professional, I really don't know what that is. Just hope I am not wasting my time.

The position can be anything from a Financial Counselor ( a person who counsels someone on how they will cover their cost in areas of liability, an example is a deductible for medical expenses they will owe $500 and you have to find out how they will pay that amount) or an actual product sale rep (someone who advises people on different investment options, such as retirement, education ect...) I am in the same boat I was contacted by an Investment Company and wasted over an hour of my time for a sales job when Admin Assistant is where my background is. My suggestion is look up the company, go on-line and gather as much information as you can. You should be able to tell what type of business it is. Then decide from there what is in your best interest. Good Luck..

probably an intern position at a stock brokerage.
