How much hourly pay does a Bank teller make? What's the range per hour?
Asked by Chica Peligrosa
I'm thinking about applying for work as a bank teller, but not sure if it will generate enough money to cover the costs of gas and daycare at least? Any Bank tellers out there who can help?

Banks are notorious for not paying enough to the people who work the hardest, take the most crap, and are in the most vulnerable position--the tellers. You might make anywhere from $7-13 dollars an hour depending on the bank. The responsibility is huge and very seldom do they offer great benefits or retirement. But it gets you some good experience to get a better job later ;)
Previously a bank teller for 3 years, got some experience in finance and moved on to work for the government.
