Where can I get a job starting off in the mortgage industry?
Asked by utopiafourteen
I've worked as a legal assistant for the last two years and I'd like to get into the mortgage industry. I've interviewed at Greenpoint Mortgage out here in Los Angeles for a Broker Service Representative position and was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of some other reputable places. Thanks.

Most local mortgage brokers' offices need processors, and in that setting you'd also likely have a lot of opportunity to move up in the organization. small businesses often provide more opportunity than bigger ones, especially for someone with good experience like you have.

Forget any other answers - the best website for job searching is http://www.craigslist.org/ You can job browse by city and then by category - and it's not like Monster - you have better chances of actually hearing back from somebody
